A multi-talented creative with a passion for visual storytelling, D.E. (Doug) West is an acclaimed Deaf publisher, creative director, artist, book designer and photographer. With over three decades of experience, Doug channels his expertise into his role as co-owner of Hyperion Nebula Publishing Group, the parent company of Electric Moon Publishing and Black Nova Press.

His award-winning drawings, paintings, and photography have been celebrated in galleries across the nation, with features in prestigious venues like the United States Capitol and the International Photography Hall of Fame. His creative journey also includes time with other renowned companies, including Hallmark Cards in Kansas City.

Doug currently resides in Kansas with his wife, three children, their family dog, and two guinea pigs.
